The first hour is in comparison to the rest of the path steep. After around 5 hours you will reach the Throng Pass Height (5416 MASL). Then the hike for today goes down to Muktinath.15. Day - Muktinath - Kagbeni (2800 m.ü.M.)
Today most people are tired, since yesterday’s stage was long and exhausting. For this reason we will take a lot of time to see a Buddhist monastery and a Hindu temple. Muktinath is a place of pilgrimage where Buddhists and Hindus go on a pilgrimage. Here you can see very well that the relation between these two religions is very tight in Nepal. After lunch you can hike down to Kagbeni. Kagbeni as well is a place for pilgrimage. Both places are very important for both religions. In Kagbeni enters the river Kagkhola (Krishnagandaki) enters into the river Kaligandaki.16. Day - Kagbeni - Jomsom (2850 m.ü.M)

The weather in Nepal is nice. The summer is together with the monsoon season from June to October, the rest of the year is dry. There is mild climate in the Kathmandu valley, during the summer time around 20-30°C and in the winter time around 0-15°C.
Please consider the climate for your travelling plans, since the county covers a height form 75 MASL to 8848 MASL. Therefor the climate changes and if you are in the wrong place to the wrong time you will probably not see the Himalaya. However there still is a suited journey for every time period!
