Most of the trail section is covered in lush forest of rhododendron and other plants that eventually leads you to the base of Mardi Himal at the foot of Mt. Fishtail. 1.day - Depature
2. day - Arrival Kathmandu
You will arrive to Kathmandu today. Our representative in Nepal will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel where we will meet to talk about the trip in details. We will discuss any questions you may have in the meeting. The arrival day is your free and relaxing day. There is no activity planned to do except the meeting at the hotel.3. day - Sightseeing Kathmandu
A cultural exploration day is due in Kathmandu today. We will take you for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. You will explore the amazing historic and cultural sites during the full day exploration of the Kathmandu. While driving to different parts of Kathmandu valley, you will learn something about the life in the capital city. The tour today mixes culture, history and spirituality together to give you an exceptional city touring experience.
The sites you will visit today are as listed below.
Swoyambhunath – This ancient site is the oldest of all sites in Kathmandu. You will find a giant white dome with golden shrine on top of it. This ancient Buddhist stupa is one of the most important spiritual sites in Kathmandu valley. This place is also popular as monkey temple because of the presence of monkeys around the site. You can enjoy the view of Kathmandu valley and the mountain peaks on a clear day from the top.
Patan Durbar Square – This site is a medieval royal palace square. Of the three medieval royal palace squares in Kathmandu valley, this one is the royal palace of the medieval kingdom of Patan. You will explore medieval art and craftworks and the pagoda architecture. The palace square is an excellent hub to enjoy the skills of the artisans. The surrounding locality of the square gives an excellent local lifestyle and culture.
Boudhanath – The biggest Buddhist monument of its kind, Bouddhanath is the most important Tibetan Buddhist pilgrimage site in the country. It is also one of the UNESCO’s heritage sites. The beautiful square and the giant shrine in the middle of it provide a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere around.
Pashupatinath – This Hindu temple area will provide you an opportunity to observe the Hindu death rituals and cremation in open platform on the bank of the River Bagmati. Visiting this site gives us the experience of culture and tradition in the Hindu faith system that completely contrasts with other systems around the world.4. day - to Pokhara (850 m.)
Our whole team leaves for Pokhara today. You will check out the hotel after breakfast and board the vehicle to drive to Pokhara, 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. The drive will be an excellent experience of Nepali highway drive. The drive will be of about six hours and will go past several towns along the highway. You will enjoy the view of natural surroundings and river valleys.
When we reach Pokhara, it will give you a welcoming gesture with stunning views of the mountains on a clear day. You will have a nice time at leisure to explore the peaceful lakeside and the town.5.day - Trek to Pitam Deurali (1950 m.) 3 hrs
Get ready to set your foot on trekking adventure today. Before starting the trekking journey, there is a one hour of drive. The trekking adventure starts from Kande and goes towards Pitam Deurali via Australian Camp. Our team of supporting crew will prepare your backpacks to carry. You will start walking towards the destination with the guide. The walk today will give us a beautiful experience of nature walk with views of Annapurna range on a clear day. We will reach Pitam Deurali to stay overnight in a peaceful atmosphere.6. day - Trek to Forest Camp (2600 m.) 6 hrs
It is a pretty day of nature walk through lush forest. We will walk to Forest Camp through rhododendron forest with the sounds of birds, wind, and crickets. We can also enjoy the view of mountains from a place if the day is clear. For the most part of the walk, we will be into a deep forest enjoying nature. Forest Camp provides and peaceful overnight environment with a few teahouses to stay in.7. day - Trek High Camp (3680 m.) 6 hrs
It will be about five hours before we reach the destination to be welcomed by a spectacular view of the Annapurna range of the Himalaya on a clear day. Our destination for the day is High Camp that stands at the elevation of 3,600 meters above sea level. It is all uphill walk today through the forest and grassy pastures. We will spend leisurely time with amazing views once we reach High Camp.8. day – trek Base Camp (4120 m.) and back to Low Camp (3050 m.) 7 hrs
We will start our day with an early morning hike towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will start the day before the break of dawn and hike through the steep uphill and narrow trail. It will take us about two hours to reach the viewpoint for the wonderful sunrise over the Annapurna range. It is spectacular to see the sun rising from behind the Mt. Fishtail ridge and smearing the hues over the mountains. We will hike further to Base Camp and enjoy the moments there. We will hike back to High Camp. The round trip from High Camp is of about five hours.
We will trek down to Low Camp to stay overnight today.9. day – trek to Pokhara 6 hrs
The first part of the day today takes on a trek down to Sidding where we bring our trekking journey to the end. It is about three hours of steep downhill walk through lush forest to Sidding where we will get a jeep ride to Pokhara. About two hours of off-road drive will take us to Pokhara for a relaxing evening.10. day - Rest day in Pokhara
A Relax day in Pokhara with out any Program.11.day - drive to Chitawan Nationalpark
We drive early Morning with a Tourist Bus to Chitawan National Park. about afternoon we would join with some Activities in a Park. Canoe ride to an elephant-breeding-center. Afterwards you will drive with an ox-cart through Tharu-Villages back to the hotel.12.day - Chitawan Nationalpark
You will start your day with a jungle tour on the back of an elephant. With a little luck you will see some rhinoceroses, tigers, antelopes, crocodiles, anteaters and other small animals. As well you will be able to see an extraordinary species-rich bird population. In the evening there will be a local cultural program.13. day - drive to Kathmandu
Around 10 AM e would take a bus to Kathmandu.14. day - Rest day in Kathmandu
Easy going day in Kathmandu with out any Program.15. day - depature from Kathmandu

Requirements
You will find the level of difficulty and the type of accommodation of each journey in the program.
Equipment
You are going to get an equipment list as recommendation together with your travel documents. The equipment for a tent trekking (tent, mattresses etc.) will be organized locally.
Luggage
You are allowed to check in 20 kg as well as you can take 5 kg of hand luggage with you. If you would like to travel with a trolley case, we kindly ask you to take an additional big backpack with you. Luggage which you do not need while trekking can be deposit for free in Kathmandu.
Entry
For the entry to Nepal you need a passport which is valid further than 6 month after your departure date. You will receive your visa upon your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu. You will be told about the visa expenses while booking, since the fee changes from time to time.
Health
Himalaya Trekking suggests seeing your doctor or a tropical doctor as early as possible so you will be informed about current provisions regarding injections. Pharmacy or a doctor will help you regarding your personal trip first aid travel kit.
Group size
Himalaya Trekking guarantees for every tour. We do not have any minimum size for a group, but we do have a maximum of 12 persons per tour.
Tour program
The daily program should be seen as very flexible since we have to consider the local circumstances as well as your physical condition. Your guide will plan with you every evening the next day.
Travel documents
You are going to receive the detailed travel documents with general information as well as your flight tickets 2 to 3 weeks before departure.
Tipping
The tip for the local guides and carrier are not included in the travel costs. It is common to tip them for a good performance.
Accommodation and meals
The overnight stays in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be in a middle class hotel. The restaurants can be chosen individually, as lunch and dinner are not included in the travel costs.
During a lodge trekking the hike will be trough village to village. You will stay overnight in a basic hostel and you are going to have your meals there or in a restaurant on the way. During the camp trekking you are going to stay in one man or two-person tents and all the meals will be provided by private cook.
Insurance
Himalaya Trekking recommends having travel insurance as well as a cancellation protection. We also recommend having a copy of your police with you.
Climate
The weather in Nepal is nice. The summer is together with the monsoon season from June to October, the rest of the year is dry. There is mild climate in the Kathmandu valley, during the summer time around 20-30°C and in the winter time around 0-15°C.
Please consider the climate for your travelling plans, since the county covers a height form 75 MASL to 8848 MASL. Therefor the climate changes and if you are in the wrong place to the wrong time you will probably not see the Himalaya. However there still is a suited journey for every time period!
